Arts and Commerce College, Khedgaon was established in June-2003 with only 34 students at Khedgaon. It is one of the five colleges in Dindori Tehsil. A very famous educational institute in Maharashtra, Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj, Nashik is the parent institute that manages the college. Being affiliated to Savitribai Phule University Pune, the college was established with view of catering higher education to the students from the villages and surrounding rural areas and also with the motto: “बहुजन हिताय, बहुजन सुखाय“.

Strength of the college students has been consistently increasing over the years. The Arts and Commerce College, Khedgaon greatly contributed to the students who could not afford to go for higher education. It has full-fledged Arts & Commerce Faculties leading to U.G. degree. At the B.A. level there are four special subject i.e. Marathi, Economics, Political Science and Psychology while in Commerce faculty Business Administration and Marketing are the special subject.

On December 6, 2021, the new building of MVP’s Arts and Commmerce College, Khedgaon was inaugurated by the President of Nationalist Congress Party Hon’ble Shri Sharad Chandraji Pawar Saheb. At this moment Hon. Changanravji Bhujbal (Cabinet Minitser, Maharashtra state Govt), Hon. Narhari Zirvalsaheb, Hon. Nilimatai Pawar (Sarchitnis, MVP Nashik), Hon. Shirramji Shete Saheb, Hon. Dattatrayji patil (Director, MVP Nashik) and all body and director of MVP Samaj Nashik.

For the development of the college, National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is mandatory. Hence the our college is under the process of NAAC.  In view of this, on 12th January 2022, the college submitted IIQA and SSR submitted on 28 March 2022 for NAAC . On 29th May 2022 the college has submitted D.V.V. for NAAC.
