Administrative College Committee:

Administrative committees’ primary goal is to establish and uphold a cross-campus collaboration among staff, teachers, and students in order to foster a practical understanding of environmental stewardship at the college. The committee members’ opinions are crucial to the College’s operations. Administrative committees do not have legislative authority; they are consultative.
Functions:
1. Examine the admissions procedure and provide guidance to increase the number of students.
2. Academic affairs supervision, including hiring, promotion, tenure, and evaluation (with faculty input where appropriate).
3. The upkeep of official documents, usually under the direction of a registrar.
4. Upkeep and examination of financial records and flows.
5. Building development and maintenance on campus.
6. Upkeep of the campus environment.

7. Campus security and safety for individuals and property (typically set up as a campus police or public safety bureau).
8. Information technology network and computer supervision and support on campus.
9. Private donations and foundation funding (referred to as “development” or “advancement”).
10. Research administration, which includes managing contracts and funds as well as ensuring that institutions adhere to national and local laws.
11. Public affairs (including interactions with local, state, and federal governments, the media, and the community).
12. Student services such career counseling, disability assistance, and library personnel.
