Students Development Cell (विद्यार्थी विकास कक्ष):
Martha Vidya Prasarak Samaj’s Arts, Commerce, and Science College, Khedgaon, believes in holistic student development, emphasizing a student’s social, emotional, physical, mental, cultural, and intellectual growth. The purpose of the organization is student-centric, and the Students’ Development Cell reflects that vision by promoting and coordinating various activities for the overall development of students. The Student Development Cell is an extension and linkage of the Board of Students’ Development of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The Cell oversees a variety of student-centric activities and welfare programs.
According to section 56(2) of the Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016, there must be a Students’ Development Cell at colleges and recognized institutes to develop an operational-level framework to support students. In accordance with the provision, Martha Vidya Prasarak Samaj’s Arts, Commerce, and Science College in Khedgaon formed the Students’ Development Cell.
Objectives of the Student Development Cell:
1. Assist students with concerns and obstacles in their daily lives.
2. Assist students with academic-related concerns.
3. Assisting students with personality development and healthy campus life.
4. Protect students’ rights.
Functions of the Student Development Cell:
1. Implement university-sponsored plans for student development.
2. Organize university-sponsored programs to promote student growth.
3. Implement skill development programs for pupils.
4. To prepare pupils for obstacles and natural disasters.
5. Facilitate training programs to enhance students’ overall growth.
