1. Nirbhay Kanya Abhiyan

  • The college organize workshops to fulfil the objectives of the scheme. At the end of the year all necessary papers are to be submitted to the central audit scheme after which necessary payments are made. Financial assistance of Rs.15, 000/- is given for the same by the University.

 

2. VOTER AWARENESS WORKSHOP 

In democracy, it is not simply enough to inform voters about election dates. In order to help the electorates take an informed decision, it is quintessential to sensitise them about the importance of participating in the electoral process. Moreover, voters need to be educated about the process and made aware of the political parties, their manifestos, backgrounds of the contesting candidates and armed with several other information to help them cast an ‘enlightened’ vote. To sensitize the voters about the importance of participation in an electoral process and to ensure a responsive, accountable and democratically elected government of India has decided to celebrate January 25 every year as ‘National Voters’ Day’ (राष्ट्रीय मतदार दिवस).With this objective in mind, the SPPU & the SDO department of college were jointly organized a voter awareness workshop.

 

3. Disaster Management Training Workshop

Objectives-

1.To provide basic conceptual understanding of disasters and its relationships with development.

  1. To gain understand approaches of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and the relationship between vulnerability, disasters, disaster prevention and risk reduction.
  2. To understand Medical and Psycho-Social Response to Disasters.
  3. To prevent and control Public Health consequences of Disasters

5.To enhance awareness of Disaster Risk Management institutional processes in India

6. To build skills to respond to disasters.

With this objective in mind, the SPPU & the SDO department of college were jointly organized a Disaster Management Training workshop.

 

4. Personality Development

  • This is a scheme introduced by the University to develop the confidence and personality of a student who comes from the rural areas and are deprived sections of society.
  • The marginalization and deprivation is double if students are from the backward or scheduled castes.
  • The main objective of this scheme is to develop a critical mind, self-confidence and a commitment to society.
  • The students are given training in health, law, and social activities. They are also given training in self-employment and all possible other activities that enhance her social confidence.
  • College organize workshops to fulfill the objectives of the scheme.
  • At the end of the year all necessary papers are to be submitted to the central audit scheme after which necessary payments are made.
  • Financial assistance of Rs.10, 000/- is given for the same by the University.
